Moderate
Jabal Dakka Park sits on the highest peak in the Al Shafa area, with cool air, steep ridges and big views across the Sarawat range, giving riders a true “top of the mountains” feeling above farms, valleys and distant plains.
The climb from Al Shafa village to the park is fully paved but steeper and narrower, with tight bends, parked cars and picnic pull-offs; ride in low gear, keep speed smooth, and watch for families stepping into the road.
Expert
Stone and earth terraces cut into the Al Shafa slopes, planted with roses and crops, where riders can look across layered fields and valleys, smell the cool mountain air and see how highland farming shapes the landscape.
Reach it via a steep, narrow mountain pass with tight, blind curves, loose gravel and drop-offs; stay in low gear, keep speed very controlled, and only attempt it in good weather if you’re confident with slow technical riding.
