This tour offers the absolute best of both worlds for avid riders. You will start with aggressive, technical mountain climbing along the stunning Al-Hada escarpment into Taif, running the high-altitude ridges southward to the mist-shrouded peaks of Abha. After conqueror-level mountain switchbacks, the tour completely changes pace: you will dive down the sharp escarpment drops to the Tihamah coastal plains, meeting the Red Sea at the historic port town of Al Qunfudhah. The final leg is a beautiful, open-throttle coastal cruise along Highway 5 back into Jeddah.
Arrival in Jeddah, custom motorcycle setup, orientation, and welcome dinner.
Ride from Jeddah through the epic Al-Hada passes of Taif and along the ridges to Al Baha (380 km).
Journey from Al Baha to Abha via the stunning mountain highways and high cloud forests (330 km).
Explore Abha in the morning, then tackle the twisty descent to the iconic Rijal Almaa gingerbread village (120 km loop).
Spend another day in Abha conquering the high-altitude curves up to the misty pine forests of Al Soudah peaks.
Leave the mountains behind, dropping down the steep escarpment roads to the coastal port town of Al Qunfudhah (260 km).
Open-throttle coastal cruise north from Al Qunfudhah along Highway 5 back into Jeddah (360 km).
